第一句：

　（我要如何才能把洋裝上這塊油漬洗掉呢？）

關鍵字：
　1. remove A from B　從B除去A　　　　　　　　
　Please remove your car from my parking space.
　（請把你的車從我的停車位移走。）
　2. oil stain　油漬
oil　油；石油，汽油
stain　污點,污跡
　He's got an ink stain on his shirt.
　（他襯衫上有塊墨漬。）

第二句：
　Taliban kidnappers have agreed to free two South Korean female hostages while they negotiate the fate of the other 19 they still hold.
　（塔力班綁匪在交涉手上另外十九名人質的命運時，同意釋放兩名南韓女性人 質。）

關鍵字：
　1. kidnapper　綁匪
　2. free　使自由；解放
　Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.
　（亞伯拉罕•林肯解放了奴隸。）

North Korean　北韓人
（南韓首都是手爾"Seoul"，北韓首都是平壤"PyongYang"）
　4. female　女性的；雌的
male　男性的；雄的
　5. hostage　人質
　6. negotiate　交涉；談判
　The musician negotiated with the record company for more money.
　（這名音樂人和唱片公司協商已獲得較多的酬勞。）

第三句：
　The cop point at the driver and signaled to him to pull over.
　（警察指著那名駕駛，示意他將車子停道路邊。）

關鍵字：
　1. cop　警察
= police
　2. point at　指著...
　3. signal　用信號通知,以動作向...示意
　She signaled the car to stop by raising her hand.
　（她舉手示意車停下。）
　4. pull over　把...開到路邊
　He pulled the car over to the side of the road and stopped.
　（他把車開到路邊,停了下來。）

第四句：
　His math grades have improved by leaps and bounds since he got a tutor.　　　　　　　　　　　
　（自從請了家教以後，他的數學成績就突飛猛進。）

關鍵字：
　1. by leaps and bounds　突飛猛進的
leap　跳躍
bounce　（球）談起；反彈
　The football bounced off the goalpost.
　（足球擊中球門柱彈了出去。）
　2. tutor　家庭教師

第五句：
　In stead of going bowling, that's stay home and play chess.
　（咱門不要去打保齡球，還是留在家裡下棋吧。）

關鍵字：
　1. bowling　保齡球戲;滾木球戲
go bowling　打保齡球
像這類的詞彙"go + V-ing"還有：
go boating　泛舟
go camping　露營
go fishing　釣魚
go picnicking　野餐
go jogging　慢跑
（在補充一下，如果把"bowling"的i n g 去掉就成了吃飯用的「碗」"bowl'l"）
　2. play chess　下西洋棋
chess　西洋棋
（通常有格子的棋盤類都叫做"CHESS"，如果要強調中國象棋的話可以叫做"Chinese Chess"）

第六句：
　She is blushing like crazy. Does she like you?
　（他臉好紅唷，他是不是喜歡你啊？）

關鍵字：
　1. blush　臉紅
（注意：可別將"blush"錯拼成"brush"，這樣意思可就差多了）
brush　刷,刷子
　I'm going to brush my teeth.
